Should I Update My Mini Maxx????

I have the 7.25 version now and i dont like it much cause it shifts hard and trans is searching sometimes. I looked up the new update and it says this, "Firmware 1023, DPF delete modified to High Sulfur text, Log files added, Auto detect firmware update added, SD card communications updated, Stock files removed from basic download to increase update speeds, Power level names changed – Stock, Tow, Street, Performance"

just wondering what the high sulfer text means and if the 1023 firmware does? if anyone has updated and can chime in that would be great.

if you update your deleted tuner you will still have deleted tunes. the h&s updater knows whether or not it is an old mini maxx or a new street mini maxx. as far as the other questions im not sure. Someone else should chime in for you!

I just updated from .21 to .28 and find the shifting to be a lot smoother. Which is weird because they don't list any trans changes.

The 2-3 shift is a LOT smoother now.

I think it's got more seat of the pants power too. But that may be my imagination, I'm not spending $100 and and afternoon on the dyno to find out.

What does the "Stock files removed from basic download to increase update speeds" mean?

Does that mean our SD cards will no longer contain our stock pcm files which are necessary to return back to stock?
