Exhaust Shop Right or Wrong???

Got my exhaust in, take my truck to an exhaust shop and they tell me they can't install my exhaust because I don't have an egr delete kit or egr block off plates. Is this correct that I have to have one of those to run the exhaust or what? It's a 2012 model with an XRT Pro. Please help I'm ready to hear this thing!

As long as your XRT will shut the regen off then that's all you need.

Easy to do with standard hand tools. Dont waste the money paying someone.

All that you need to do is unplug the EGR connectors as outlined in the manual, and install emissions removed tuning. A physical EGR delete is not necessary
