Mini Maxx - DPF Off with EGR blocker plates

I have my mini maxx and intake installed currently with DPF present setting. I have my elete pipe in hand (didnt have time to install it last night), but I am still waiting on my blocker plates coming this afternoon.

Question is: If I install the DPF delete pipe now, update tuner to DPF removed and drive it around... can someone confirm the EGT needs to be set to "H&S" to get accurate EGT readings and when I install the blocker plates with a DPF sensor, the EGT needs to be set at "Factory". That's all I need to do, right?

No need to wait for the EGR blocker plates to arrive to install the delete pipe?

Yes you can run without the plates, I still am currently. In the manual it shows you 2 plugs that HAVE to be unplugged from the EGR. The EGT readings will not be accurate until you buy the H&S probe and install that. I believe you can select Pyro 1 and Pyro 2 and when you install the probe just select the option for that.

I can also use one of the three DPF probes to monitor egt, correct?

You can only use the factory egt probes if you have the correct plate...my sinister delete plate will only work with an aftermarket probe.

You won't be able to get an accurate EGT reading until you have the appropriate plates installed. Either our EGT solutions kit, or EGR delete kit will accept one of the factory probes from the DPF. The tuner will need to be set on Factory Pyro once this is all said and done.

For now, anyone who wants to leave the EGR in place, but remove the DPF and run Race Tuning, you will want to set the pyro source to H&S so that it will read 0. If you leave it on factory, it will show a ghost reading that is around 2000 degrees at idle, and goes down as you get on the throttle.

H+S support, can the truck be ran with the delete pipe without the her being blocked without harming the egr?
