Spartan or mini max

Pulling the trigger this week and can get a spartan or a mini max. I see the majority of people are using the mini max. Have there been any issues with the Spartans? I see spartan just released green tuning also, is this to prevent being shut down? Thanks.

I have a mini on my truck and the reason I choose that over spartan was purely because you spend 1200 bucks on a spartan programer but you can read egts through it and that is the only reason I choose h&s over spartan

H&S....solid performance, backed by solid support. Has MCC capability (custom tuning) although no one has really done much with it yet.

Spartan....more power, questionable support that seems to be alot better lately. I'm not sure what their custom tuning ability is.

Both can read egts.

You really can't go wrong with either. I kinda wish I had a spartan to try out for the extra power. I have H&S and it works great. Good power, good shifting.

Someone should really sticky this H&S/Spartan info and some other FAQ's.
