Changing Gears

Anyone who is running 40s, did you change gears if so what did you go with? I want to try to get mine back to almost a factory ratio. If not how does the truck drive with factory gears?

I have the stock 3.55 gears in my truck and I still have plenty of power. Still tow my 26 ft boat with the truck on 40's. Only problem I notice is when cruising in 6th gear at lower speeds and accelerating slowly, I get turbo flutter until it downshifts.

Thats good to hear. What kind of set up are you running suspension wise? can you post a few pictures of your truck

Look at some of my previous threads you should find plenty of pics. It's a custom setup. Custom king shocks all around remote reservoir coilovers in the front, remote reservoir shocks in the rear, king dual steering stabilizer, custom traction bars too but I dont have pics of them yet.
