PTO
Dunno but was searching around and figured out my 2012 has pto outlet, So I guess my question is anyone trying this option out? Looking into adding generator and compressor unit to truck maybe to use in race pits. After searching ran across this.... Genair® Air Compressor/Generator Ford Superduty : VANAIR - truck-mounted air compressors, generators and welders any ideas? Superduty is rocking
Maybe some of the forum venders has such a product??

At the shop I work for we have always called a ford dealership with the vin number. They will tell you if you have the pto option or not.

My truck is one of the first 11's built, I have PTO. My manual talked about PTO's being standard on the 6 speed torq shift.

When I ordered my '11 in April 2010 the PTO feature was a $180 option on the tranny. There is a differant rear case or something like that. I do believe all the gearing is there in all trucks, just a differant case for mounting what ever you run with the PTO.
