Diesel tunes performance chips- scam or worthwhile?
I can't find anything other than manufacturer claims and possible sales seeding, any real world use?
80 hp 160 ft lbs 20% fuel mileage increase- sounds too good..... PLEASE only reply if you have used, or have direct information regarding THIS unit. I know there are many, many different types available, from the fine vendors on the site and otherwise, but for right now, I am trying to find out info on this specific package. Thank you in advance for information you can supply. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13521317724303 Last edited by Ken2012f350; 11-05-2012 at 07:10 AM. |

No offense but it is detectable by the ECU regardless. It looks likes it passes through one of the ECU connectors just like the Edge units use to. The difference that looks like a nice knock off to provide lower end performance. Don't always believe that hype. I'll see if I can find some pictures from the Porsche forum where they had units like this that would wire in that were "not detectable by dealers" and it was a horrid wiring nightmare that ended only in a bad mass in the end.

Yeah, those things are garbage. If you want power, buy an H&S. All that chip consists of is a boost fooler. Crap, crap, crap.
