I have left mine at the default that was set on the unit and hasn't been an issue but I don't drive it hard on a regular basis. I did notice that when I was doing the trans relearn process, I hit the defuel limits during the 0-80 at wot run.

I think the most important defuels are egts (Pyro 1) and turbo boost.

I would set defuel on Pyro 1 to 1400 or 1450. Keep in mind its a good idea not to keep it at the temp for ling periods of time.

I also set my boost to 34psi. I did this only to possibly prevent my turbo to over work itself. Stock these turbos only see obout 20-22 psi. Tuned and deleted I see between 30-36psi

Great advice here, we set defuel at 1450 for pyro and only 32 for boost. These chargers are expensive, and anything above 32 is gray area... For what its worth.

That's why I'm ready for the aftermarket single turbo that you guys have been testing out!

Search old threads here, but I thought that when someone runs deletes, they wouldn't have to defuel or am I confusing that with regen.? Help a newbee out, thanks in advance.

If he's running a '13-14 model truck, there is no need to limit the boost, all of the tuning available for the new models runs much lower boost. Highest I have seen on my '13 is 26psi.

I wouldn't set a defuel on the pyro, I would set my defuels on my coolant and tranny temps though until they reach 175-180 on the coolant and 120 or so on the tranny

Thats good to know. Thats all I see on my 2013 as well. I see people saying they get 30-36 and I was thinking I had a problem.
