Exhaust 4 of 5"?

Looking into a tuner, intake and exhaust and noticing that some are using a 5in downpipe back exhaust w/ or w/o a muffler. I would probably go the w/muffler route, but curious if there is much performance difference between a 4 or 5in exhaust.

Thanks!

I don't think you will really see a performance advantage considering the HP you will be making. The only thing it is going to do is give it a slightly deeper tone.

5" down pipe back no muffler. I had the 4" and then changed to 5". Sounds way better plus lower egt's

I have a 4" downpipe to a 5" cat delete muffler delete exhaust and I love it. The only difference between the 4"-5" is the cost and sound difference.
