Replacement Fuel Tanks

I have a 2012 F-250 with a 26 gallon tank. I was thinking of getting one of these replacement fuel tanks that hold 50 gallons and wondered if anyone else has bought one yet and if they have had any problems? Here is the link for it: Ford pickup replacement tanks

I have a Transferflow - they're metal vs the poly for the Titan. Granted, it's TOUGH poly, tougher than the stock unit but it ain't metal. No problems with mine in eight years.

For the cost of one of those I'd just as soon run an in bed aux or transfer tank.

A buddy and I are gonna order the 50 gal titan tanks next week and install at same time. We are tired of the small 26gal tank and don't wanna lose bed room with a transfer flow tank. Which was my first idea. I'll post pics of install when we get them done.

i have the titan 50 gal in mine and it think its the best add on i have done to date. instead of having to get fuel every other day i get it once a week an i can plan to goto better fuel stations where before i had to settle sometime because i NEEDED fuel that bad. Install is cake with a buddy to help took me 2 hrs taking our time not to break anything. And a good ford dealer can reflash your MTE as i had mine done. Best price i found was xdp xmas sale witch was 15% off

If you don't mind me asking how much did you buy your tank for? I can get them through transfer flow.com for $940 delivered. Everywhere else i looked was over $1200 delivered.

Don't bother with transfer flow. Go to northern tool and pickup an RDS aluminum tank for $450 and throw in an electric check valve to tie into your vent or just run an external pump on the tank. No idea why the tf tanks are so much money

How much bed space do you really need? An RDS 45 gallon tank for 71 gallons total takes up 9 inches of bed space.

I've been eye balling the titians for a while. My mechanic told me he heard a few storys of the tanks sagging over time. But, could be wise tails. I'd like to hear from more people that have been running these titians for a while.
