stock hi mount steering stabiler HELP

I am trying to remove the stock unit to replace with a carli unit. the side near the passenger side of the truck comes right off 1 nut, however on the shock side the nut comes right off but the screw part sems to be pressed on there. How does it come off.

Thread the nut flush with the rod end so you don't mess up the threads then take out some aggression. Good luck
