H & S tune question.. stock

I was woundering if anyone has put the h-s mini maxx on a stock truck and ran with it. Looking to maybe run the tuner on stock truck with a CAI and exhaust. I know, if i am going to do it, i should delete everything, but I am worried about the emissions for inspection and the warranty issue. (massachusetts) I understand you can run the tunes on the stock truck and loose 10hp per stage comapred to a totally deleted truck.

Has anyone done an emission inspection on a tuned truck? How did it fair??

Ive been running dpf on H&S tunes for about 2000 miles. definitely worth it. I haven't had an emission test with it but I would guess it would pass. The only downfall is there is no way to monitor egt's. I plan on deleting soon but just haven't had time to install my exhaust. If you never plan on deleting, you should look into KEM's green card tunes.

As much as people decide too.. I looked through the 26 pages and used the search bar and found nothing on guys trying to get their trucks inspected (emmissions) with tunes. I did find a lot of guys running tunes with dpf installed on 2010's and a few 11's. Just looking for some more imput on a informative diesel fourm. Mystic do you mind putting the link to all these threads you seem to of read about the thread? Help a fellow org member out.. Thanks.

PS43- my plan is to do what you have done, start with tune and work my way to the delete. Thanks for the reply

KEM green tunes and concerns resolved. Stock intake and all. From everything I have read ohter than more turbo sound the aftermarket CAI gains little to nothing. Very happy with the results.
