Delete Question

Folks I plan on deleting the dpf soon... my question is do i need a pipe with bungs?... i keep seeing without bungs but none with.... a lil insight here is greatly appreciated i dont wanna get the wrong thing

Nope, no bungs needed. Just disconnect the sensors leave them in the stock exhaust and tape up the ends of the wires under the Truck.

I already have a DPF back AFE system.....now its just time to get rid of the DPF...

I ordered my DPF Delete Yesterday... went ahead and got one with bungs that way i can somewhat use my sensors until i do the EGR delete next Month.... thanks for the help guys i appreciate it.

Why would you need the one with bungs? Someone enlighten me.

After talkin to a few folks and reading up the only benefit of the bungs is you can plug your sensors from the dpf right back in... no real benefit except a somewhat accurate inaccurate egt reading from the front sensor

I got the one with bungs for about 50 bux cheaper than one without so i bought it.

Like i said when i do my egr delete here soon im just going to weld the bungs closed and use my delete for egt input but until then....
