H&S.21 I Now Out

Hey Y'all,

I did the .20 upgrade and found I could no longer get EGT's to read. Called the fine folks at H&S late yesterday and today at noon....they have a fix for it already....and it's .21. So...if you've updated to .20 and are having problems...get the .21. Otherwise you'll just upgrade to .21....or that's what I surmise.

Forgot to mention the symptoms...the EGT reads 32 degrees....and doesn't change unless you push the upper right hand button....as if you were going to say...... increase the setting from mild to hot. Every time I would push the button...I'd get a "Snapshot" temp...and it would stay at that reading.

Anyway, thanks to H&S for such a quick fix....greatly appreciate it!

Update:

Uploaded .21 to the system and EGT's are reading just like before.

Haven't put many miles on the truck....will be putting a few hundred on today. I think .20 was mainly to set up the unit for future programming. At least that's what it sounded like in another thread.

Will post if it seems like something has changed...otherwise...I'm just glad the EGT reading has been fixed over version .20.

On h&s website it only shows version .20 nothing shows that they have .21 out yet according to my computer. Did u do the automatic updater or the regular way to update your mini maxx?

Sorry....guess I didn't check for the mini.....my bad. I have the black maxx and made an assumption....can't imagine why they would list it for one and not the other?
