Removed H&S and returned to stock got CEL
So I reverted my truck to stock EGR Block Plates removed and DPF back on. Connected all sensors and returned the tune to stock.
I threw two codes that keep coming back. Called H&S and said to check with ford, which I am going to ask them tomorrow. I figured I would ask here as well. I got P2047 Reductant Injector Circuit Open Bank 1 Unit 1 P042E Exhaust Gas Recirculating control stuck open Truck seems to run fine, idles fine etc. I clear the codes with the tuner and they keep coming back.. Anyone know what the deal is ? H&S was installed fully deleted for about 5-7k miles. |

P2047 Possible Causes: • RDINJPWR circuit open or short • RDINJGND circuit open or short • Reductant injector open or short P042E Possible Cause: • Damaged EGR valve May be simply due to accumulation of debris build-up around the valve. |

Thanks does the P2047 mean that the DEF Control plug isn't plugged in ? or something ? Any clue which plug that might be ??

You are awesome.. that for sure was one CEL. Ground fault/open meant i missed a connector.. COnnected it and testing.. however the one for the EGR is probably messed up or clogged..

That fixed the ground fault.. EGR still stuck open. Not sure why though
One code down and one to go. |

There was a member on here a while back who returned his truck to stock and had the EGR stuck open code. He took it to the dealer and had his EGR replaced under warranty if I remember correctly. Maybe he will chime in?

Thanks Guys..
That is probably exactly what it is.. If I knew more about the internal EGR Valve and what it looks like and how it operated I would try and clean it myself.. |

So I popped the hood and turn the truck on and then off again. I can see what I think is the EGR Valve Plunger opening when I turn the truck off.. Or closing not sure.
So it looks like that part is working.. Anyone know how this actually works? |

Just put mine back to stock as well. I had to order a new EGR as it was clogged up with soot. I think they said it would be 6 hours for labor.
