Question Stock truck looking to make big power.

I have a 2012 F350 4door 4x4 this is my first Ford and need some input. I pull trailers and run the highways alot and need the best fuel mileage and power. What can I do to get this. And also on here I have not seen anything about transmission upgrades. How much will the stock transmissions take.

Thanks Guys.

You gotta search around on the forums before you make new threads that are about the exact same thing as hundreds of others. We all have 6.7s and we all want power, you aren't the only one...

Mini-Maxx, DPF Delete, EGR delete and intake of your choice puts you around 450 hp an easily over 1000ft/lb at the wheels. IIRC the trans were pushed to upwards of 1500-1600ft/lbs during testing with no issues, so even at 1k they aren't even breaking a sweat. I haven't heard of anyone breaking anything in the trans yet. The stock turbo and fuel system seems to be the weakest link in these trucks, and that's only if you push it past 550hp. These things are beasts stock, and only get more fun when you mod them. Oh, with the extra power, I saw a 3mpg gain! Hand calcualted I get 20 on the highway doing 75-80. Im sure it would be 21-22+ if I took it easy, but its too fun not to lay into it. Not bad for a big *** truck, especially one making that kind of power.

I know, right? I snuck over here to see what kind of toys they were putting on these new motors... Never shoulda looked. I'll be happy when I crank stock 6.7 numbers out of my 6.0. I'll be glad when these trucks get down to poor man prices.
