Deleting soon, stuff bought today

Howdy all. I just bought the H&S minimax, exhaust, and egr delete kit. I won't be changing the intake because the filtration of the factory filter is stellar. I drove through a bad dust storm in northern AZ two weeks ago and I thought for sure my engine was sucking in all kinds of dirt. I changed the air filter as soon as I got home and the intake was absolutely spotless-brand-new-shiny-clean. I realize this will reduce performance some, but I'm ok with that.

I bought an oil change package with 3 oil changes from the dealer. One is used and I'm not going to do the delete until I've used the other two oil changes. I change it every 3000 miles. I'm going to try to get some solid before/after mileage calculations. I'm going to hand-calculate and just post what happens. No hype/guessing/bs. Any requests? I'll try to do my best. I'd guess I'll do the delete in May or June so I've got a while.

Just install it, you paid for the oil changes, the dealer can't deny them just because you have modified your truck. That is if that's what your worried about.

You have to be careful running the stock filter. I've heard of a few guys having their factory filter collapse and get sucked into the intake during WOT runs.

When in doubt, mash on it....and don't stop till you smell sh!t or hear glass break!
