News about KEM

Just emailed KEM about their deleted tunes, this is what I got.

We do not have a release date yet for the Race tunes. We are currently waiting for the latest EPA/CARB rulings in regards to Race calibrations.

I actually plan on stopping by their shop after Christmas. Maybe I can get a better idea from them. They are real leary about discussing anything over the phone related to deleting emissions.

I'm pretty sure KEM has the DPF-off tunes ready to go. They are just watching their 6 until the fire settles with the EPA and they find something else to go after.

This might be a dumb question, but if we (the consumer) say that it is for offroad/racing use only and sign the paper and all that, why does the EPA bother the company doing the tuning?
