new truck

I'm picking up my new 2012 6.7 on friday and its too quiet. I don't want to do a dpf delete and chip it. Ive had bad experiences chipping trucks. I just want it to be louder any ideas?

It's not going to happen then. Either you take the DPF off (tune it) and open her up for sound or your stuck. You can change the exhaust past the DPF but you just get a different looking tip. No extra sound.

There's a video in the General section that a guy posted of his DPF back exhaust. You can see there's absolutely no sound change. If you look under the truck, you'll see that there's no muffler or anything past the DPF minus a tiny resonator chamber. If you want sound, do like Sgt93 said and go full delete. I had mine deleted and it sounded awesome, but I couldn't take the chance of getting caught without the DPF so I put it back in and am now running KEM's DPF on tunes.

So basically I'm screwed because I just want it be louder. I'm not wanting to gain tons of power and loose my warranty.

If you are that concerned about it, you might do a 5" DPF back with no muffler. But, most likely not what you are looking for. It might make it a little deeper. That's about it.

Absolutely love them. More power than H&S Hot but I've still got my DPF on. Saw a decrease in MPG over the DPF deleted tunes but nothing I can't live with. I love the ease of mind knowing that an angry cop can look under my truck and I don't have to worry.
