XRT Pro Safety Features

When I had my 08, I had an SCT Livewire with custom tunes from Eric. If I remember correctly, there were safety parameters built in such as defuel for high egt. I used an edge insight for monitoring. For my 2011 I also use an Edge Insight. I know safety features are built in the mini max but can this be done for the XRT Pro? I like having a tuner that can be stored away instead of being in sight(thieves). Thanks.

The XRT does not have monitoring capabilities, so it cannot command a defuel based on EGT's. It will still use factory defuel settings for other sensors such as oil pressure, coolant temp, etc.

The Mini Maxx and Black Maxx units both have monitoring built in, and would be able to provide automatic defuel based on many parameters.

Buy the Mini Maxx and use the Blendmount (look a few posts down).
