is it too soon for steroids?
i just recently purchased a 2011 psd
and for some reason i have a feeling that its too soon....... i know steroids are illeagal until its like 5 years old or something lol i aint even checked out my warranty yet but im more worried about truck break in and not screwing something up. cause when i popped the while it was running, i decided that it was really busy and had a lot going on under there..... which equals me not jacking with anything..... but i want to sooo bad lol just some info would b nice, thanks.

If it were me I'd wait until you get some more miles on it. At 22k I finally did a torq2. I'll do a real tuner later on, don't want to lose the warranty just yet.

I put my tuner in before 10k all is well but remember there all built different . I just said screw it and did it the day after h&S release there tuning. Have not regretted it at all.

But mattys crazy like that, he does everything first. He's already done nitrous and waiting on his twin kit to be released. Im jealous BTW haha.

I put my mini maxx on at about 1800 miles and I have about 2700 on it now. I figure if something is gonna break it's gonna break.

I'd at least wait until after the initial break in and oil change...at least a couple thousand miles. JMO.

you just have to remember.. you have to pay to play... there is a small chance something bad can happen and completely void out your warranty.... you just have to be prepared for the worst.. a new engine will cost you about 15k

Amen to that

![]() i was always told by my engine builder to drive it like you will be driving it. don't baby it for the break-in drive it normal lots of load and lots to vacuum to set the rings and get everything to seat in. so thats what i did with my truck too. its my belief that these engines come pretty much broke in anyway. so if your going to work it........WORK IT.it will love it |

We suggest putting at least a few thousand miles on it first to make sure that something wasnt overlooked during production. Once those few thousand miles are on and all is well........
