banks 4" dpf back exhaust

next up for me is the banks 4" dpf back exhaust. should be installed in the next week. going with banks because im not screwing with my warranty just yet...need some more time for this truck to prove itself before im willing to do that. figured for 389 bucks off ebay, it was worth giving the banks a try to see if it does anything. if not at least it will look better than the stupid factory tips.

It wont do anything at all. I have this installed on my truck. It DOES look 100x better then stock though which was the intent. Looks better then the other alternatives IMO also.

sound will not change . plus no one likes BANKS. if a tip is all you want cut the factory one off and weld on an AFE or MBRP or similar tip for $25 from here http://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/exhaust-tip.htm

Nothings wrong with a Banks DPF back exhaust. Like it or not, it's just a pipe lol. A nice tip cost more then $25 + time/money to weld it on.

Could say the same for someone doing a DPF delete then. Could just buy a delete pipe and keep the factory piping @ the rear and just weld a tip on.
