I Picked Up A New Truck & Have A Few Performance Related Questions:

2011 f250 super crew, fx4, king ranch

anyway, i've read quite a bit on this forum and others, and it looks like the best option for better mileage and a little more power is to get a 5" turbo back exhaust (dpf/urea delete) and a mini max.

so, what kind of mileage increase should i expect? does that sound like the best route to take? where is the best place to purchase? (price/service)

i'm a former 5.9 cummins guy, so i'm new to the powerstroke stuff.

Congrats on the transformation! Too early to tell what is the best IMO. DPF delete will be better than factory

i'm expecting so...i don't know about the fords (since they use def), but the dodges are 10x better after the dpf delete. much better mileage, power, etc. i came from an '05 dodge 5.9, though, so i didn't have any of that dpf stuff to deal with...i've been really hesitant to purchase a truck with it, but i've read and heard quite a bit of good things about the new ford, so i figured i'd roll the dice.

Looks like H&S is in the Lead right Now!

We are all looking for the same answers LOL Biggest Problem i think is nobody stays stock very long, so the numbers are gonna be hard to judge...i'm talking about people going to 35's and bigger tires,these seem to be the people to buy the deletes and tunes first because they are trying to get the MPG back LOL

it would be nice if somebody did the Deletes and tune with stock tire set-up :~) so we have some real world figures to go by.

I'll have my deletes and tune by the weekend with stock 18s. Hopefully I can give an idea of what to expect for mileage. I got 13 going to the sand dunes pulling a little 5k trailer last weekend. I'm making the same trip this weekend with a tune so it will be a nice way to compare for mileage.

Ya, I bought a 2011 F-250 to replace the Lightning on daily duties. I have no doubt you will enjoy your new truck.

i just switched from dodge to fors and im loving it so far.tald my wife i would keep it stock for the first 36000

I think we all said that! I have 9500 miles on mine and im about to do intake(AFE), Exhaust (AFE), and mini maxx. Stock suspension, and stock 20's.
