H&S vs Spartan
Hey,
I have a 2011 F350 with about 16,000 miles on it now. Im ready to add a tuner. I came from a Spartan tuned 2008 that I really liked and never had any problems with. Just wondering which one you guys have found to be the best. Im assuming no one has tried them both, but just looking for some different opinions on which one to go with. I straight piped the 2008, it was loud. I like how quiet the new one is and would like to keep it that way. It looks like the H&S has higher tunes if one was to leave the exhaust alone?? |

I was Spartan tuned on my 10 and H&S now on the 11. I'm running the hot DPF on tune and love it. I am very happy with the h&s and especially their customer service.

Does the hot dpf on tune make it regenerate more often or use more urea?

I find my truck going into regen it seems appx every 125-175 miles... depends on my driving though. alot less if highway driving, alot more if idling excessive etc.

To the OP: H&S Performance is on top of their game with Ford 6.7L tuning, as you can see, they have a ton of happy customers. It is far and away our top selling tuner for the 6.7L Ford and to date we have not had any unsatisfied customers with them. The Spartan is also a good option from what I hear, but I dont have much seat time behind the wheel with one to give any real good feedback. I suggest calling each company as well as a few dealers that sell both and getting their opinion on which direction to go. We have several different packages that will get you what you want/need at discounted prices. Feel free to give us a holler if theres anything we can help with.
