That "War Hammer" tune costs extra money on top of the 1250 right? Is that the H&S Hot that comes free on all the tuners?

The "Warhammer" tune is an extra cost. The "Hot" tune comes with your H&S programmer.
The interesting part of all this is H&S advertises their 6.7 Powerstroke numbers with DPF deleted as 150hp gain correct? Spartan advertises their "Warhammer" with a 200hp gain? Looking at the numbers I see there is not a 50hp difference obviously. From a conversation I had with a gentleman at Spartan while I was shopping for my programmer he said the advertised numbers include an intake, and DPF delete piping. I took that comment into consideration and contacted H&S about their numbers and found that their advertised numbers are for their programmer only. Obviously they would have tested with DPF delete and so on but doesn't seem to have advertised. This just shows the difference in advertising in my mind and is the reason I went with the H&S Performance Mini Maxx for my 2011 6.7. Advertised at 50hp more and only making 30hp more that does not make me want to pay the extra $250 for the Warhammer, or the extra $580 for the Spartan with Warhammer over the H&S. This is my first diesel and I did a lot of research before making the decision and by no means am an expert here. I just find these numbers actually confirmed my decision to go with the H&S unit. |

Well when they say "150 HP" and "200 HP" are they talking HP at the motor, or at the wheels? Is this comparison Spartan dynos 30 WHP greater then H&S which comes to around +/- 42 HP difference which is awfully close to that 50 HP difference.

Im not seeing the +/-42 hp comparison you are talking about. I see 27hp difference and and if take 478hp and 508hp I see 30hp but not 50hp as advertised. Either way both tuners are really good but like the guy above you stated all H&S updates and hot files are free which is pretty damn cool and there attention their customers is hands down the best.

The latest H&S update online is making about 15-25hp more than the file that was run in the dyno results above... just FYI.
EDIT: update is available for Black and Mini units only. XRT Pro is getting worked on and should be done in the next week or so. Thanks! |

Is the H&S doing trans tuning with it's higher horse power tunes.

Yes, the H&S has trans tuning on ALL power levels.
