General Intake Question

Hey guys, im curious about putting an intake on a 6.7 truck without a tuner. I know that on the 08 trucks most of the intakes would cause a CEL light unless you had a tuner, are these 2011+ trucks the same way or will I be ok with an intake for a while without a tune?

I believe most intakes will not cause a CEL on a 2011, maybe someone else can verify this.

I installed the stage 2 aFe intake w/o tuner and had no issue or CEL's. After a months I installed H7S tuner with delete kit. That's the way to go, the Truck is running just great, especially with the tranny tuning!
