Afe
I just installed an afe intake. Everything went perfect until I found that after the initial test drive the clamp that holds the plastic tube to the metal intake ( down stream of the MAS air sensor had come loose.)
0 I got this corrected but my check eng light is on and the truck goes into limp mode every so often. Please help, I know everything is installed correctly. I was told the limp mode can take 50 drive cycles (or miles) to clear ![]() Thanks in advance! Jeff 2011 CC Tux Black Last edited by Samhain; 04-22-2011 at 04:46 AM. |

Okay, got it figured out. The bone head that assembled the mass are flow sensor
had it in backwards facing the wrong way. Doh! Well, at least she runs and sounds better now!

How do you like the intake? I have had my 6.7 for 2 months now and I remember how much better my 7.3 sounded after I put an afe intake in it, so im interested.

Too bad I've got a check engine light now. Going to reset the battery and see if that clears it. If not my buddy owns and inspection shop and says he can clear it... meh
