i have seen a cutaway of the turbo. it has a single shaft with an impeller on the exs housing and two impellers on the compressor side. the compressor side has two valutes one smaller one bigger.. basicly two turbo's in a smaller package ..it is a neat idea.

Great link. I've always wondered what the sounds were after I turn the truck off. Now I know it's the DEF pump evacuating the lines to prevent damage.
