I suggest taking the hanger brkts off the frame(from the outside of the frame rail/ a series of 13mm lock nuts) and removing it as a complete assembly with all the sensors, hangers, rubbers and even the uri injector. Unbolt the factory exhaust at the 3 bolt flange if it's going to be reused just ratchet strap it back a inch or 2 and it should stay in the rubber hangers for the tailpipe. It is a two person job to get this unit out as it is much heavier than the 6.4 assembly. It's not much harder than doing a 6.4 other than the weight of the part.

I looked at mine when I recieved everything and said WTF! It looked like a lot of work so I had mine put on for $135, which was money well spent.

If you do put it on I would suggest you have someone helping along with an impact wrench.

I posted a picture of the factory system taken off in a previous photo and that thing weighs easily over 100 lbs.

Good luck!
