H&S Installed Tonight on my 2011!!!
I just finished putting in the H&S setup in my truck tonight. That sh** is a lot of work so I am glad I paid a local shop to do it. I had a grand plan of doing it myself till I looked at the factory exhaust. If you don't have a lift, a jack, jack stand, and an impact wrench along with a helper don't do it!!! Spend the extra cash to sit in the A/C lol! JK I am happy with the outcome. I shot a few Iphone shots, but I will get some good ones tomorrow. She runs like a spotted ape. I am taking it easy until I get the Pyro Meter installed. Thanks to Aaron at Rudy's Diesel Perfomance I recieved a great product in a short time!

I thought the blackmaxx and minimaxx both read from the factory pyro?? What pyrometer are you installing?

Put about 300 miles on mine tonight. No surging, great shifts better mpg. The only thing that sorta bothers me is the dog turd chevy 350 sound you get inside the cab. I installed the 5" exhaust wondering if I should have went with the 4".
The h&s shifts from 1st to 2nd like on the factory tune, my bully dog gt had the lug from 1st to 2nd like it did preflash from ford. I can't wait till there are some high hp tunes! |

That sounds sweet! What the heck is the the jet engine shutdown whine though? I don't recall hearing a diesel sounding like that when shutting it off?

I love the sound lol! I am not sure what the sound is. Maybe it is the turbo releasing the last bit of air. My 6.4 did the same thing with the straight pipe.
