Spartan Question

I ordered 6.7 friday. A friend wants to buy my spartan tuner. Should i sell it or wait and see how i like the 6.7 power and fuel mileage? I only care about mpg when towing. This was my first ford truck, liked everything, but hated it when towing, only get 120-150 miles on tank with 210 tune.

You'll be happy with 6.7

So you are saying you are getting 3-4 mpg when you are towing? I can pull 22,000 lbs with mine and still get around 10 mpg. I would say that you have a leak in your fuel tank if you are only getting 120-150 miles per tank. I get over 400 out of every tank when pulling trailers.

I start looking for a fuel station when my tank reading is at 1/4 tank full. 26 gallon tank at 1/4 full is around 6 gallons, so i have 40-60 miles left when pulling my 24ft toy hauler. Sorry about mis information. The best mileage i ever got out of my truck was 16.6 at 60 mph with the spartan 210 tune.

On 2008-2010 6.4 equipped shortbeds, the tanks are 30 gallons. The new 6.7 equipped shortbeds are only 25 gallons.

Titan has a very nice replacement tank for our 2011 trucks and it doubles the tank to 50 gallons. It is OEM in appearance and still a plastic type tank so corrosion is not an issue internally or externally. Let me know if you'd like a price, we are a Titan distributor. Sean
