NEW 6.7 PLEASE HELP

I want to start off by saying I love my new truck tons over my old 6.4 that was spartian tuned... But im going crazy with the lack of power and mpg compared to my old truck..Anyone have a tune avaliable or to try out? I work at a Ford dealership so waranty isn't my concern...Thanks

blakeclark..i'm stunned...you work at a ford dealer and your asking that question... this scorpion 6.7 is supposed to get 18-19 on the hiway...according to diesel power magazine. me... i,ve put afe stage 2 intake and dpf back 4" pipe.. and i cant get 19...going down-hill in N with a tailwind..sssssoooooooo you need to help all of us that have these milage efficient scorpios trha aint gettin what they say it would get...maybe i shoulda held off on getting it

I would love to hear about mileage too!!!! The best I can get is 16 mpg and that's with very easy driving. I was easily getting that out of my '04 money pit 6.0!

Great so the 6.7 is a pig on fuel too.....

Guess ill be keeping my 7.3 for a bunch more years untill they can make a diesel that will get 20 mpg again like they did back in 99

We get around 15 to 17 MPG doing short trips to work and back with it being cold each day, 20s to 40s. But when we get on the highway and if we keep it around 60 MPH we easily get a bit over 20 MPG. If we go 70+ it drops down to 18 - 19 MPG. This is figured with pen and pencel.

husky.. man, i,m lite footed,got the air box and dpf back exh. with 3.55 gears, 7k miles on it now & best i can get is 17.5 at 55-60 mph (15.7 local). help me get 19/20. thanks

My 6.0 gets 16-18 all the time, 20 would not be that much of a gain. Its stock and never missed a lick. Im very happy with the power and reliability. If the new 6.7 has at least the same power and does it with better fuel economy Id say they hit their mark. Less power and less MPG, well.......Lets put it this way, im not here to rain on anyones new truck parade. Hopefully they will get this stuff ironed out with some great tunes.

I avg about 12-13 per gal in town and around 16 on highway 3:31gears. I dont see the lack of power. This thing would kill my 07 6.0 and my 08 work truck 6.4. My work truck now is a 03 duramax it gets better fuel but has no were near the power. I guess its all in what you want
