Tuning question

I just purchased a 2008 F350 Lariat for towing my 10K 5W. 36K left on engine warranty. This is my first diesel and up to this time wasn't aware of tuning and mods. The mpg #s are scary especially when towing so I am interested in improving the mpg. However, at this time I don't want to do any hardware mods since I am still under warranty. Are there chips or programmers which might make my stock F350 more efficient without having to do any HW mods. If so any experience on how much improvement?

Hope you old-timers don't bust a gut on this newbie question!!

Suggest you try the 6.4 forum, they should have a lot of recommendations.

i dont think anyone is making anything for the 6.7 yet,but i could be wrong
