Typically you remove the DPF and the EGR. However some just use the EGR block plates. Give me a call man! I'll take care of you! We have plenty of options for you!
I would read the **READ FIRST** FAQ
has a really helpful breakdown of all options & brands
I can recommend No Limit Stage 2 Intake (& just the No Limit brand in general) blows everybody out of the water no questions
AFAIK EGR cannot be disabled/deleted w/o deleting the DPF as well
Kinda an all or nothing situation, and only deleting the EGR and keeping the DPF will still hinder performance and not reduce EGT that much for towing. The dpf must fall off for optimal longevity/performance. Read FAQ thread then call Jeremy.
I was under the impression if you run a mini maxx tuner set to "DPF installed" it still disables the EGR, hence why the instructions tell you to disconnect the two EGR harnesses.
I'm aware it's best to install block off plates at the same time, but I think the EGR is disabled with those tunes.
Second calling Jeremy. Great guy, knows his stuff. I have ordered everything through him and me being the PITA that I am, he still answers my questions. Good company, great products.
Gear head tunes do really well on my truck I have a 2015 F250 super happy with them livewire SCT is the platform untill more updates and stuff come out for the EZ lynk tuner save your money I got one and it was total garbage have had tons of issues with it and the tunes are ok at best with them installed my transmission shifted hard and now it blows smoke but with the gear head they did not
The Ez Lynk is a great tuning platform. No issues with mine and PPEI's tuning is spot on.
