I see a lot of talk about the no limit intake but they are all installed with a delete. My stock air filter is due to be replaced so I figured I would look into something better. Will a no limit intake improve mpg or power without the delete? Does it require a tuner? I do not want to delete. Thanks in advanced!
No custom air intakes don't require a tuner. They are pointless with stock exhaust though. Engine breathing is restricted much more by the DPF then it is with the stock intake system.
Just added a K&N Blackhawk intake on my 15'... Good for about 15hp. If you do the math, it's only about a 3.5% gain. I wouldn't advise not putting this kit on a 11-14 6.7 though. I tried it on my 11' and due to the twin vain turbo I ended up With a lot of noticeable flutter.
