that is true if we are trying to aid traction or fight something other than the axle shift because of there being so much torque. I think for purely a driving(non racing) application that if you put a steering stabilizer on it on top side of the axle and mounted in front of the axle then it would create enough resistance to eliminate the harsh shifting on the first to second shift. I'll have some free time this weekend i'll fab one up and try it out and see what happens.
