Used H&S XRT Pro

I need a little help. I am fairly new to the whole to the whole "tune" and DPF removal thing, well not new just finally doing my homework and looking to go ahead and get it done. I have a person here willing to sell me a used H&S XRT pro for a reasonable cost, a cost that seems to good to be true. The person claims he just sold the truck the tuner was on and wants to get rid of it. Is there anything I should be looking at in order to be sure I don't get scammed? Do I even have any worries and a new tune can be installed regardless? What do I need to quiz the person on in regards to this being legit?

Again I am fairly new and I am also confused as to what H&S has been doing with the original to the new "Street" tuner. Can anyone clarify for me what the difference is?

You need to find out whether it is unlocked for "deletes" before if your worried about going that route. And also it could be locked to the truck. An unlocked XRT is $1100 bucks in some cases.H&S will unlock it if it is still vin licensed to the guys truck with a cost attached of course....
