Modification gains

I have seen a lot of members stating they have performed tuning modifications and deletes. But I have not seen any technical data showing benefits of doing them. What are the real world gains performing each?

EGR delete?
DPF delete?
DEF delete?
Air intake upgrade?
Tuner?

I would be curious to know if anyone has dyno'd their truck after each modification. I not only am interested in HP/ft lbs increases but also would like to know what mpg increases have been seen.

As a side note, I would also like to know each members experience good/bad has been since mod's. I see several reverting back to stock in order to have warranty work performed.

Egr delete, gets the soot out of your intake.

Dpf delete, gets rid of excess back pressure that forces your turbo and motor to work harder then it should

Def, gets deleted when DPF is deleted

Intake, not seeing much of a benefit on the 6.7s like they were on the 6.4s. The stock box is good for 500whp

Tuner, deletes the dpf, calibrates the motor, ECM, and tcm. Monitors a list of parameters

the egr delete gets the soot out of the intake elbow, lets motor perform better, have longer life expectancy no mileage gains, just extends life of motor
air intake as previously stated not completely need on a 6.7. flows better, filters about the same or slightly worse. some claim mileage gains, you probably won't see any, truck might be touchier on throttle with more air to use.
DPF delete lets truck breath, think of it this way try to shoot a spit ball from a straw with to big of a spit ball, its hard to do, this is what your truk has to do. you will see milage gains, but would be limited with towing.
Tuner have to have one to delete egr, and exhaust, or else truck will be in constant regen. This will be your real mileage adder, the bigger the tune, the better the mileage.
The guys response from early was a perfect response that answered every question, i just elaborated on it. You probably scared off multiple other people from replying by blowing up on the first guy that posted and tried to help end of rant

Everything has been pretty much covered above ^^^^^ just by adding a tuner and deleting dpf you will see a great increase in fuel mileage and hp/tq.

My mods are in my signature. Since i deleted, i gained a absolute minimum of 3mpg (empty highway driving).

Highway driving i now see about 19-23 mpg with H&S on "hot" depending on speed.

City driving, (usually stepping on it) haha i see about 15-16mpg.

While towing a 30' goose neck Wilson cattle trailer loaded,(about 15-18k pounds) i usually avg about 14-15mpg with my H&S mini on "mild"

As far as warranty goes, it all depends on dealer. My dealer is mod friendly and they do all my services. But any dealer has to prove your aftermarket parts caused a break or problem before they can void the warranty.
