The warranty issue has been the great debate for some time now....just like oil threads.
If your truck was tuned, and you return it to stock, a Ford engineer may or may not be able to detect some tuners.
I have it on good authority that if the engine suffers something serious, the dealership is required by Ford to dig deeper into the nature of the failure....including Ford having a regional rep come out to inspect.
The 6.7 is being watched very closely by Ford....so you can bet they will have no issue with sending someone out to look at catastrophic failures.
I have nothing against tuning.....just make sure you have the financials to cover a repair if Ford finds something and denies the warranty
