300 miles and CEL.

So , I'm getting ready for a cross country trip in my new truck, and driving normally in town yesterday it threw a CEL, called the dealer, couldn't get in that day.

So I went and bought a good obd2 reader, pulled the code and it was the p2a01 sensor 2 bank 1

I erased the code and it has not come back, but before I did, I also did the trick of holding the down arrow while turning on the ignition to get the maintenance screen, and toggled to the recurring DTCs page and there was none, so that's good.

The only thing I have done to my truck is run Stanadyne.

The truck was not fully warmed up when it threw the code, and it was about 35 mph in 4th gear , light load on the throttle.

Do you think the 02 sensor might be adversely affected by Stanadyne?

Yep, on the road trip 1350 miles, and it resets but keeps coming on every 150 miles of so.

P2a01 sensor 2 bank 1.

Looks like a bad 02 sensor right out of the chute....hope the EGT sensors are better built than that.

I wonder how long it will take a dealer to change that out?
