Unhappy 03 f450 loss of power

I have a 03 f450 turbo diesel and I was driving one day and it felt like the tranny was slipping when I would climb hills. Then one day I was on the frwy and it started to lose power I wasn't able to accelerate and then it would pick up and be fine. well finally one day I was driving and I thought the tranny was going out I was barley able to keep moving and it wouldn't accelerate and all of a sudden it just died and wouldn't start at all. Then I changed the air filter and it ran great for a little bit and then it started to lose power again and now when I put it in drive it lugs and starts to stall and run very crappy and just inches along. But its not throwing a code or service engine lights not on. Any suggestions ? Need help moving in a week and need to see if I can fix it my self as I am strapped for cash and need this truck to move. Thanks
