2012 and 2013 problems

So here is my story. Last year I got a 2012 350 XLT. Loved the truck. around 9000 miles the truck developed the engine sputter, shake, flutter, whatever you want to call it. I took the truck to Local dealer Ziems Ford. They said the TSB said to replace the valves in the left bank. 15 days later the truck was still in pieces. They would not give me a loaner vehicle either. I raised a big enough fit with the sales department that they agreed to buy the truck back from me if I were to buy another from them. So I did. Brand new 2013 350 Lariat. Awesome truck right!, guess what 3900 miles and this truck is doing the same thing. I didn't see my old truck out on the lot so I asked what the deal was. The sales guys said that the mechanic that was working on my old truck screwed up putting it back to together, Lifters I believe he said and they had to tear it back down. Now Im having a really hard time believing that my truck will get fixed if I take it in there. It might be time for a Dodge

Before I'd buy a Dodge I'd take it to a better dealer/repair dept.!

give ford a call direct and tell them your situation

i have had problem in the past with other dealerships, and they usually set things right
you should not have had to buy a new vehicle/any time I or my dad bought a new ford the dealership has always issued a free loaner(been a few years) until the vehicle was repaired

something doesn't sound right with that dealership

It seems to be good business when you get a loaner for long involved repairs but I don't think dealers are required to do it!
Should be in the contract or purchase agreement when the car is bought so you know why you want to go back to even that dealership!
