2012 6.7 knocking at idle and terrible whine with minimal throttle

This thing knocks like it's a broke valve spring or rocker arm, but if you throttle just a little, it sounds like a bearing in a pulley. It sounds like ****. About to pull the turbo and get the valve covers off to take a look. Any ideas before I get crazy?

Then why keep posting? I knew it was a broken valve spring the whole time. I like to post and see who can get them. Yes I'm a service tech but just posting questions FYI doesn't really help anyone learn.
