What tuner? What all do you use your truck for? Maybe just running it too hard and getting the boost too far up? Also do you let it cool down after running it hard.

first time it happend I was driving normal at 45mph, second time I was towing 4 Atv's and this last time was again 45 mph . H&S mini max. just dropped off a turbo performance center to put back to stock. It sucks you spend 57,000 for a truck thats not reliable. some guys said the lubrication in the turbo is lacking, some say the egr is clogged. I don't beat on my truck as I have seen some people do.( I still owe $40,000 on it) Just want a truck that is reliable and a beast on the road.

How can you claim it's unreliable with a tuner on it?

It shouldn't be blowing turbos that quick, unless you beat the hell out of it. When you say blown turbo, exactly what is going on? Locking up, coming apart?

unfortunately, tuners are well within the realm of "you play you pay" for dealerships. I am confident there were some durability issues with the earlier turbos... hence the updated turbos for those unmodded trucks that fail. But, add a delete kit or a tuner and dealerships will still replace the turbo for ya, but will expect a credit card when it comes time to pay the check.

You answered your question. These trucks are not designed for mods like you have done.

Buy a turbo timer or let your truck oil cool to mid 190s before shut down. Whats your max EGT? You run over 1300*F for more then a few minutes your cooking the turbo and the motor.
