CEL P0401 Tsb 12-6-11

I had a cel that came on the other day then went away. Two days later came back. The code p0401 ( insufficient egr flow) ie clogged erg cooler. 1/2 a day at the dealer new cooler and no CEL. That and a rad leak, no other issues in 55k.

What are these things having the same rad issue the 6.4s had? Now on these things they use 2 rads on LTR and one HTR correct? They use one that pirmarily for the charge air cooler and egr cooler? Thats the way navostar does it expect that they use a coolant control valve to controll the temps

yep 2 rads. One is a low temp cooling system for things like the fuel cooler, trans cooler, charge air cooler etc

I was hoping Ford woud have fixed the radiator on the 6.7. That was the main reason i traded my 6.4.
