6.7 died and won't start!

Was running great and started making a real quiet sputtering or rattling sound then engine light comes on and says reduced engine power. Will turn over but won't start. Any ideas? Only mod is AFE intake

did you get a message for low fuel supply pressure on your display?.. I would remove the AFE and put it back to stock before sending it to the shop....

No all it said was reduced engine power. It was making some sputtering sounds from under hood but I could barely hear anything really. Yeah I was gonna take it straight to dealer but decided to wait and take AFE off first. Don't think it contributed any to the problem just don't want to give them any reason not to warranty it. I sure hope its something simple and not engine failure

Did you see any fuel leaking anywhere? I know the injector hold downs break and there is a TSB for it. Make sure it is back to stock so they have nothing to denine your warranty!!!! If they have an out they will stick it to you if they can.

My afe intake just came in and there is a paper inside that says there has been problems with it in the 2011 powerstroke 6.7 and that and engine light will come on blahh blahh.. it says to see the ford dealer for the fix because it happens in some trucks with the stock exhaust also.
