Sorry for this

OK first off sorry for this, but im in my truck on the road so i cant really do a search,.

I have a 2011 F550 repo truck. Today I had ford do the oil change and they put 10-30 in it. Now that I have been driving a few hundred miles I noticed my engine is running hotter and I lost about 2mpg and 2 mpg on a truck that averages 11 is bad. So could it be the oil? This problem didnt happen until the oil change this morning.. I checked all fluids and there good. Should I switch out to the t6 5w40 or what? am I gonna hurt the truck if drive easy back the 160 miles to co springs?

Seeing as how 10w30 is the recommended oil for the 6.7L there is no reason not to run it. They are saying you can use 5w40 for severe use or when running b20 fuel.

yeah we went to the dealer and they did the recal reflash and it seems to be running better. I guess we might have to switch to the 5w40.
