Check Coolant - Failed Test under 15k

So at around 14,500 miles the check coolant message popped up. I was taking the truck in for the computer flash recall (Nox I think) later that week. I asked the dealer if they would test the coolant while it was in there. They call me and say my coolant failed the test, and no additives can bring it back, and it will need a full system flush. Keep in mind this is supposed to be 100k mike 6 year coolant under normal conditions.

Well after 3 weeks of trading calls with the Ford customer service hotline and the service manager at the dealer, finally got Ford to covered it.

Anyway, if any of you run into the same situation, stay on them, they will give in.

My coolant warning came on this weekend, brought to stealer today, $21 dollar test said it was fine. What a rip off!

My dealer didn't charge me anything for the test, but had no shame in saying I needed to pay $200+ for a coolant flush. This on a truck with over a $68k sticker, that is less then 9 months old.

It's the 6.0 all over again! Watch your oil coolers! At least you're getting a warning.
Gonna have to flush coolant at every oil change with these damn things.
