Angry Pissed 28k turbo blew

I was coming home from work a block away from the house I was getting on it. Seen a bunch of smoke and no boost. This sucks hope they fix it with this new Turbo I'm hearing about. They told me 3 weeks if its a Turbo I don't understand why it would take that long.

Welcome to the club! They should take care of you. Ask them for a loaner truck while yours is getting fixed.

Dealer put on a new '12 turbo on my truck, says it ran fine for 10 minutes then started to squeal, no oil at the turbo. I didn't quite catch what the tech said, but I thought I heard the motor was making noise too (no oil pressure). Might have to replace the whole thing, waiting to see what they say. At 16k miles.

Just got a call from ford they will have it done in the morning. I asked about a new turbo design they told me it does not say If it is a new design or not. Ford said If there is a new design that is what they put in the truck. Its what ever Ford sends the dealer I guess. Ill keep you guys posted on how the truck does.
