Question???

I have a 2011 6.7 I was driving in fog 6 weeks ago, and I thought I had a tire going down. I stopped and checked, no low tire, but I did notice my engine sounded like it was running on 7. I drove home(30 mi) and parked . I drove it to town the next morning and it died on the way. Ford picked it up, and after setting untouched for 4 weeks, finally tore in to it. They said it sounded like a bad valve or something. Ok, I thought, they'll fix it. Wrong!!They took a head off, only to find one valve burned(they say broke off ) and another bent. THEY say I ran through water, and got water up through the airbox, so the new engine(20k) was on me. BUT WAIT!!??? I live in west texas, where it hasn't rained in a year!!! I am sure I didn't run through water, and the only moisture around in months was the light fog. I read one guy said something about the exhaust fluid being mostly water, could that be where the rust in the cylinders came from?? I'm not a mechanic, but do know a little. They said the water level in the radiator was full, which they say proves I ran through water. HELP!!!! Can anybody help ???

I'm no expert on the new 6.7 but I'm quite familiar with engines and none of that possible story makes sense to me. I'm calling BS and you need to get that resolved. You would have had to drive thru a small river to get water up that far. Hope you get it resolved. I'm curious how this turns out.

If they claim you had water that high have them check the interior of the truck. I am sure the cab of your truck is not water proff i am sure you would have sometype of water intrussion on all four/two doors.
